I want to setup WiFi in AP mode. When I bring my Raspberry Pi outdoor for time-lapse, I can connect it directly using WiFi, and control it through web browser.

Google said this model USB WiFi works out of the box. But the truth is not...

I use BASPBIAN image (2015-02-16). Maybe due to new kernel version or my TL-WN725N is version 2.1... no idea... it just not listed under lsusb command...

Wasted a few hours to Google and try. Finally found a working driver. Install it by:

sudo wget https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8188eu/raw/c83976d1dfb4793893158461430261562b3a5bf0/rtl8188eufw.bin -O /lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8188eufw.bin

After reboot, lsusb and ifconfig able to find the hardware, YEA!

Next, setup AP mode.

With many tries and fails, end up this guide works perfectly for me. But for Step 6, I removed wpa_pairwise=TKIP, because it is not secure anymore...
